Helly Hansen introduced the world’s first technical base layers in 1970 when its LIFA Stay Dry
Technology took the outdoor market by storm. LIFA is a polypropylene based technology and is the
driest fibre on earth. Rather than absorb moisture like standard wool and polyester alternatives,
it grabs excess heat and sweat and pulls it away from the skin keeping the body dry and at an optimum
temperature during all sport activities.
New for winter 2009, Helly Hansen introduces HH One™, the world’s most versatile baselayer made
for all-season use. HH One™ features hollow fibre LIFA similar to polar bear fur on the interior that
more efficiently retains heat, and a light polyester exterior that assists in pulling the moisture further
away from the skin. The exterior fabric is crafted in a “supercharged” cross hatch pattern that
delivers superior moisture movement and improves breathability.
The design is technical but the feel is soft and luxurious. HH One™ has a slightly looser fit that makes
it ideal for wear as a single layer during summer activities like trail running and hiking or as a base
layer under a fleece or jacket in cold or rainy conditions. HH One™ comes in multiple styles with
exclusive graphics and prints for men and women, including the Multi ½ Zip Jersey, Stripe Crew
Graphic, Multi Long Sleeve Jersey and Multi Pant.
HH One™ Features
- Hollow fibre LIFA Stay Dry Technology
- Non-pilling design
- Supercharged moisture management fabrication
- Flat-lock stitching
